Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actor and producer. She has been recognized for her outstanding performances in films including Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Holly Hunter has won numerous awards, including an Oscar for her film Piano. Actresses have a long experience of performing on Broadway, Off-Broadway and other productions. Acting has always been her love of life. When she was in fifth grade, she portrayed Helen Keller in an original show. Her mumps left her blind and deaf in the one ear. But she did not allow this to stop her from becoming an actor. The college she attended was drama after which she moved from Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania to New York City to follow her goals. After a casual encounter, she became trapped in an elevator along with writer Beth Henley and the two collaborated in the Broadway Crimes of the Heart that made Hunter's debut. Hunter moved to Los Angeles and tried to find film roles. For Swing Shift, she landed a role as a support. She has since appeared in several television series, films as well as movies throughout the span of a 30-year career. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has also won an award called the Women in Film Lucy Award.
