Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is an American actor and producer who is well-known by her highly commendable performances in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards for her work, including an Oscar. The talented actress began her career as an actor in the theatre by performing in a myriad of Broadway as well as Off-Broadway productions. From her early years she's been passionate in the field of acting. She was Helen Keller as a fifth-grade pupil in a school performance. In the fifth grade, due to mumps, she lost her hearing in the left ear. However, she did not allow that to stop her. When she was in college studying drama, she moved in New York City with her plans to achieve them. Hunter was stuck in the lift of the playwright Beth Henley when she met her. They collaborated to create Broadway Crimes of the Heart which marked Hunter's Broadway debut. The first time she appeared in a film was after she relocated to Los Angeles. In the years since, she has been in a variety of television series and movies over a career spanning more than three decades. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame star and has been awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
